Featured Sessions

We combine practical financial coaching with encouragement and accountability, so you don’t just learn… you move forward.

Charles & Micah Roberts | The Budget Lab Workshop

Most money workshops leave you with notes. This one leaves you with an actual budget. In this guided, hands-on session, Charles and Micah walk you through the Empowering Budget Playbook step by step – helping you build a real spending plan that reflects your values, your income, and your real life. No shame. No overwhelm. Just a working budget you built yourself, ready to use the moment you walk out the door.

Keynote by Mardi Winder-Adams | Coparenting Beyond the Basics

Divorce changes your family structure – but it doesn’t have to break what matters most. In this keynote, divorce coach and mediator Mardi Winder-Adams moves beyond the legal process to the real work of building a healthy co-parenting partnership. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, Mardi will help you shift from “ending a marriage” to redefining a parenting partnership that actually supports your kids – because children do best when parents stay focused on them, not the past.

Jessica Lyonford's Workshop | Designing a Life That Doesn't Burn You Out

Burnout isn’t a personal failure. It’s a design flaw. In this workshop, Jessica Lyonford introduces The Happy Skills™ – eight science-backed behaviors that help you protect your energy, make better decisions, and build a life that actually works for you. No productivity hacks. No toxic positivity. Just a practical framework for designing your days around what matters most. Because a good life doesn’t happen by accident. It gets designed.

Charles & Micah Roberts | He Said / She Said: Money, Marriage & Two Very Different Perspectives Workshop

Two coaches. One marriage. Completely different instincts about money. In this candid and entertaining workshop, Charles and Micah pull back the curtain on the real money conversations that happen at home – and what they’ve learned from seeing finances through two very different lenses. Whether you’re partnered or solo, you’ll walk away with fresh perspective on how to talk about money, navigate disagreements, and actually get on the same page. Because the best financial plan is one you can both live with.

The Coaching Room

No scripts. No hypotheticals. Just real people, real money situations, and real coaching – live. Watch as volunteer attendees step into the seat and receive genuine financial guidance from Charles and Micah in real time. As each situation unfolds, you’ll walk away with insight, practical strategies, and encouragement that speaks directly to your own financial journey.

about

Micah & Charles

The co-founders of Empowering Financial Coaching, and everything we teach comes from real-life experience.

We’ve walked through seasons of financial stress, life transitions, and rebuilding. Along the way, we learned how to create practical systems that actually work — not just in theory, but in everyday life. That’s what shaped the way we coach today.

Micah brings compassion, encouragement, and a safe place to start.
Charles brings structure, strategy, and clear next steps.

Together, we combine heart and practicality, helping you build a plan that fits your life and actually sticks.

We’re not here to tell you what you “should have done.”
We’re here to walk with you toward what’s next.
